Bio >
Alexandra Petkovski is a gifted musician. At 17 she has completed Grade 11 at
Cawthra School of the Arts with honours, and was awarded an Award of
Excellence for Music. She is currently working on her ARCT. She has performed
dozens of times at various competitive music festivals including at the Ontario
Provincial Music Festival, and has performed numerous times at the Mississauga
Living Arts Centre and live on TV. Alexandra Petkovski performs both classical
and jazz piano pieces, and had studied cello, saxophone and flute. She teaches
several young piano students from her home studio, preparing them for RCM
exams and festivals. Alexandra is also a singer, composer and lyricist, and has j
completed a CD of 12 original songs with her sisters Stefanie and Katharine,
under the title “Just ASK”. Also an aspiring actor, Alexandra performed in a short
musical which was shown at the 2007 Cannes Movie Festival & had one of the
main roles in Cawthra's production; "Les Belles Soeurs".
